HOFSTRA COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES
Since Hofstra’s founding in 1935, our offerings in education have been a cornerstone of the university.
The School of Education is dedicated to preparing outstanding professionals to serve in 21st century schools, community centers, and universities. As the educational landscape has changed over the decades, the School of Education has remained current and, in many instances, been the impetus for changes in curriculum, policy, and technological applications. Our distinguished faculty members offer a wide range of programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, advanced certificate, and doctoral levels. Teacher education and educational leadership programs are fully accredited.
Hofstra’s School of Education provides access to the support, technology, knowledge, and facilities students need to become effective educational leaders and to meet the changing dynamics of teaching.
